In co-operation with DieBie Engineering and Top Dutch Solar Racing, we took on the challenge to develop the most efficient electric motor for a solar-powered car.  Top Dutch Solar Racing is a team of students that are going to compete in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge crossing over 3000Km through the outback of Australia on only the power of the sun. To do this as fast as possible they need an electric motor tailored to there car that has a minimal amount of losses, is lightweight and is fully integrated with the wheel.
